This purported reference book on ufology is wholly valueless, as the authors appear to have almost no knowledge of the subject which they discuss . What can one say about a book which does not even give a mention to Jacques Vallee, Charles Bowen, Ted Phillips, V-J Ballester Olmos, and devotes just a few lines to Allen Hynek, but which gives over nearly a whole page to Erich von Daniken?
Indeed, the whole book seems heavily weighted towards the ancient astronaut brigade. It is padded out with all sorts of 'definitions' of common terms from a variety of fields, none of which possess much merit. To add to the farce , the authors invent a whole galaxy of terms which look like defections from a fifth-rate SF pulp. We can only suggest that if ufologists refrain from paying out their hard-earned cash on rubbish like this, maybe publishers will stop paying the hacks who 'write ' it.

The cover looks familiar but I don't seem to have it. With the disappearance of charity thrift stores here in Canada, I don't see these bottom-tier books anymore.
